Make record the steps to reproduce any problem on your computer

You can use Problem Steps Recorder to automatically capture the steps you take on your computer, including text description and screen shots. Once you capture these steps, you can save them to a file that can be viewed by a computer technician or someone else helping you with a computer problem.

To start the Problem Steps Recorder, click on the Start button and type in PSR in Start menu Search box and press Enter. Alternatively you can open Control Panel and type problem in the search box and then click on Record Steps to Reproduce a Problem link.

1. Click on Start Record.
2. Go through all the steps like you regularly do. Press Add comment to include text description. You can pause the recording at any time, and then resume it later. You can also disable recording of screenshots by settings Enable screen capture option to No. In this case, it'll only record a description of your steps not images.
3. Click on Stop Record.
4. In the Save As dialog box, type a name for the file, and then click Save.
5. Send this file to your support person so they can view the steps taken.
